Otra estupenda semana de Jazz en La Montaña Rusa Radio Jazz. Abrimos con nuestro Clásico de la Semana, The Complete Candid Recordings of Charles Mingus, caja que recoge las sesiones de grabación para Candid, del talentosísimo grupo de músicos que comandaba Mingus en 1960. En nuestra sección de Jazz en Español, tuvimos de vuelta a un viejo conocido del programa, el gran Baldo Martínez, del que escuchamos uno de sus últimos trabajos, Cuarteto Europa, publicado a finales del 2017. La primera novedad que disfrutamos fue One, brillante trabajo de Fusión del saxofonista británico Tim Garland, publicado en 2016. También escuchamos a los Throttle Elevator Music, junto al talento de Kamasi Washington en el estupendo Retrorespective, publicado en 2017. Y cerramos con otra novedad, ésta del 2018, el nuevo trabajo del saxofonista Walter Smith III, Twio, junto a luminarias como Christian McBride, Joshua Redman o Eric Harland.
